We try and incorporate our own grown organic produce in as many dishes as we can. This includes our fruit, veg, honey and eggs
Each day we bake a range of homemade cakes like our award winning “Stonebridge tart” and many others such as our Carrot cake, banana cake and coconut cake. Don’t hesitate though. Our stocks are limited. So come down and dig in.
We are very aware of the rise in allergies and have prepared a range on allergen free meals; we also offer some vegetarian options and also some vegan choices, if you have any questions or worries about our menu or products, please do not hesitate to ask our chefs and serving staff, if required our allergen book is available on request.
Child portions are available on request for most of our meals, just ask your server for more information.
Our Head Chef (Kristina Jones) has incorporated the Fairshare Model into the everyday working of our café; Fairshare is an organization which was founded in 2013 in Nottingham
“Fareshare has a unique mission: to fight hunger and its underlying causes by redistributing surplus food to hundreds of local charities across the Uk. By ensuring good food is not wasted, they turn an environmental problem into a solution, helping to feed thousands of vulnerable people every day.”

“The Trading Post” was opened in May 2008 – by a two-headed llama on loan from a local theatre!

We sell fresh eggs daily from our 60 hens, as well as duck, turkey and goose eggs when available. There’s also honey from our hives and jams made from fruit grown on the farm; fresh produce; and a wide selection of plants, from herbs and flowers to shrubs and small trees.

We also have animal handling so that people can get close to some of our smaller residents, depending on which animals have had babies – young rabbits and guinea pigs are usually available, but ducklings and chicks can also make an appearance. If you want to get closer to the larger animals we also sell bags of feed.

Souvenir keyrings and fridge magnets are available, and we are in the process of developing calendars and cards for all occasions. For kids we have a varied selection of pocket money toys (animals, vehicles, masks, buckets and spades etc.) together with a good selection of sweets. In Winter we also stock essentials like gloves, scarves and hats!

The Trading Post opens when the farm is open, seven days a week 364 days a year
